Dedicated to preservation, conservation, & restoration of Florida’s native plants and their ecosystems.

The Florida Native Plant Society is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is the preservation, conservation, & restoration of native plants & their communities.

The Citrus Chapter teaches others how to use native plants in the landscape. By using native plants we eliminate the need for chemicals, conserve water, and provide suitable habitat for wildlife.

Since our chapter was established in May 2001, we have done a plant rescue, native plant/nature walks, native tree give away, donated & planted trees in a county park, and toured a native plant nursery.
