Daily Transformations

Today's Transformation:

  Love fills me to overflowing.

Note: Though the daily transformation statements are simple, their effects can be very profound.

The Process

A Daily Transformation is a step beyond an affirmation.

An affirmation must be repeated numerous times in order to take hold. You might have to repeat an affirmation hundreds of times over a period of days or weeks for it to become effective.

A Daily Transformation is an affirmation which you take the time to sit down and process until it is " done." How do you know when it's done? With experience you can tell very easily. You know how it feels when it's integrated 100 percent.

If you haven't experienced that yet, the feeling is similar to the way you experience the "rightness" of other things. For instance, notice how you feel after saying,"My name is ______." (Fill in the blank with a name which is not yours.) Then say,"My name is ______." (This time ues your real name.) There is usually a detectable difference.

In addition, when something is totally right you can "feel it in your bones." There's not a single thought you can have that creates doubt about something you believe 100 percent, and sometimes it's even difficult to attempt to mentally create an untrue statement about something in which you totally believe. If there's room for doubt, it isn't "done" yet, keep processing until it is.

Begin by sitting in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Get comfortable, and take a few slow deep breaths. Feel youself relaxing with each breath.

After taking about 10 deep breaths begin the transformation process by saying the affirmation, either aloud or in your mind. Say it slowly, gently and deliberately. Increase the feeling of conviction with each repetition. If your body wants to move for emphasis, feel free to do so.

After several minutes one of several things is likely to happen, such as:

  • You may have a profound realization about yourself.
  • You may feel like laughing.
  • You may feel an ease about doing something you had been resisting or putting off.
  • You may feel very light.
  • You may enter into a deep meditative state.

Go with the flow of the process. Often it is like peeling an onion, you remove one resistance at a time. When resistances present themselves, gently return your focus to your affirmation. Staying focused on the desired state (the affirmation) will allow the resistance to resolve itself, and the discipline of remaining focused will give you inner strength.

You can do your transformation any time of day. If it is most convenient for you to do it before bed, it is a good way to relax and unwind, and can help you prepare mentally and physically for a good night's sleep.

If you want to lie down to do your transformation, go ahead and do so. The most important discipline you will get from this process is staying focused, not staying awake, so it isn't a big deal if you doze off.

If you fall asleep during the process check when you awake to see how you feel when you say the affirmation. If you want to do some more work with it, you can, whenever it is convenient for you. Or you may find the process is completed already!
