What is Colon
Hydrotherapy (CHT)?
This is
a gentle, non-invasive process in which an appropriate temperature
of water enters slowly into the colon. When the desired amount of
water has entered, the client cues the therapist to empty or let the
water and waste products evacuate. The temperature and pattern of
water entering and exiting is very individual depending on the condition
or congestion of each client. The CHT equipment is closed, meaning
there are no basins where waste evacuates.
Before reaching
the client, all water entering the system is purified via filters
and any bacteria and/or parasites are zapped with an ultraviolet light.
The water then travels through a in-flow tube and the waste exits
through an out-flow tube.
All disposable speculums and CHT equipment are FDA registered. A session
commonly lasts from 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the comfort
level and condition of the client. It is most beneficial if clients
have 2-3 colonics within a 1-2 week span--preferably two back-to-back.
